Celebrating Community and Commitment: A Look Back at CASA’s 24th Annual Crab Feed

$271,000 raised for our local foster youth!
In the heart of Fresno and Madera Counties, a remarkable evening unfolded on Friday, September 8th in Clovis, California. Over 650 esteemed guests gathered under the twinkling lights for CASA’s 24th Annual Crab Feed, not just to savor the tantalizing 1,750 pounds of crab or to partake in fun games and auctions, but to stand united for a noble cause – supporting our local foster youth.

The commitment of our community was incredible and inspiring. That evening, the combined efforts of everyone present which included over 80 volunteers, 20 staff members, all our attendees and wonderful sponsors, we were able to raise over $271,000 for the foster youth of our counties. This heartening figure isn’t just a testament to the generosity of our community, but a beacon of hope for the children and young adults who find solace and support through CASA.

It’s said that communities thrive when they come together, and that night was proof of the power of collective goodwill. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to every guest who graced the occasion. Your presence, enthusiasm, and generosity were the driving forces behind the success of the evening.

To our steadfast sponsors and community contributors: your unwavering support is the backbone of events like these. It’s with your continued belief in our cause that we can dream bigger and do more for the foster youth of Fresno and Madera counties.

As we look back on the Crab Feed, we’re not just reminiscing about an event. We’re celebrating a community that comes together, time and again, to ensure a brighter future for its youngest members. Thank you for being a beacon of hope and commitment.

Until next year, let’s keep the spirit alive and continue to champion the cause of our local foster youth.
