The CASA Board of Directors is pleased to announce Wilma Hashimoto as Executive Director of CASA Fresno and Madera Counties!
Wilma brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Executive Director position and has a vision to lead CASA into the future. Wilma has 28 years of experience serving as an educator, administrator, research associate and business woman. She has a business degree with an emphasis in finance from the University of Southern California and master’s degree in education administration and supervision from Fresno State. Her breadth of experience is well suited for the CASA Executive Director position. Wilma has an understanding of the unique challenges facing foster youth in Fresno and Madera Counties.
Many of you know Wilma from her time as a CASA Board Member since 2010 and chairperson of the CASA Program Committee. We are fortunate that Wilma will be joining our CASA team. She is passionate about CASA and our mission and is excited in serving more than 2,500 children waiting in foster care in Fresno and Madera counties.
Wilma will assume the position of Executive Director effective July 16, 2018.
