Winter 2017 New Advocate Swearing-in Ceremony

  On Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 CASA of Fresno & Madera Counties held the New Advocate Swearing-In Ceremony for our Winter 2017 class of New Advocates. 27 volunteers were administered the Oath of Office by the Honorable Mary Dolas and are now officially sworn in as Court Appointed Special Advocates! Congratulations to our new advocates. We thank you for your willingness to serve the foster youth in our communities and wish you luck as you begin this exciting and rewarding journey! On Thursday, August 11th CASA partnered with Fig Garden Village for Fig Gig! A great evening of live entertainment from The Valley Cats and raffle drawings for fabulous prizes donated by the businesses of Fig Garden Village. We are thrilled to announce that the raffle raised over $1,800 for CASA! CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties held our 18th Annual Crab Feed Fundraiser on Friday, September 16th 2016. We would like to thank all of our Sponsors, Donors, Guests and Volunteers for helping to make the 2016 Crab Feed Fundraiser the best one yet! Your generosity helped to make this our most successful Crab Feed to date with more than 700 people in attendance and over $175,000 in net revenue raised! The money raised during Crab Feed goes directly to supporting CASA’s mission to recruit, train and support volunteers who serve as the voice for abused and neglected foster children in Fresno and Madera Counties. This year CASA partnered with 14 local businesses and organizations to bring in toys and gifts for the children currently appointed to an Advocate. Thanks to their overwhelming generosity CASA was able to hand out over 500 toys this holiday season!
